Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Define and enforce Azure and O365 security policies, standards, and guardrails aligned to industry frameworks.
• Manage and optimize security services: Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Policy, Firewall, RBAC, and Microsoft 365 Defender.
• Secure advanced Azure services including:
o Azure AI – protecting models, data pipelines, and APIs.
o Azure Cognitive Search & Document Intelligence – safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring compliance.
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) – container security, network policies, identity, and runtime protection.
• Implement and maintain O365 security controls: Exchange Online Protection, DLP, sensitivity labels, MFA/conditional access, and insider risk management.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and O365 integrations.
• Monitor, detect, and respond to threats across Azure and O365.
• Automate governance and compliance checks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform.

Required Qualifications
• Hands-on experience managing security in Microsoft Azure and O365 (5+ years cloud security, 3+ years Azure/O365 focus).
• Expertise in Azure AD / Entra ID, conditional access, RBAC, and privileged identity management.
• Demonstrated experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or advanced Azure workloads.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security controls (Defender suite, DLP, sensitivity labels, identity protection).
• Background in incident response and remediation in cloud environments.
