Essential Job Functions:
ECS Strategy & Growth- Define and drive organization-wide ECS penetration strategy for renewals.
- Increase ECS % contribution to overall renewal collections.
- Build and execute roadmap for digital-first collections model.
- Drive large-scale ECS mandate registration campaigns (new + renewal base).
- Improve activation rate of registered mandates.
- Ensure strong conversion funnel:
- Allocation → Registration → Activation → Debit Success
- Design ECS-focused campaigns aligned to renewal cycles (M0–M6 / deep lapse).
- Partner with operations teams for execution through CCEs and supervisors.
- Ensure effective utilization of ECS within broader retention campaigns
- Performance Tracking & Governance
- Registration Rate (%)
- Activation Rate (%)
- ECS Share in Total Collections (%)
- Bounce / Failure Rate (%)
- Monitor daily dashboards and identify gaps across branches.
- Drive corrective actions for low-performing territories.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and banking compliance for mandate handling.
- Standardize ECS processes across branches.
- Monitor mandate quality, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Coordinate with partner banks, payment gateways, and vendors.
- Resolve issues related to mandate processing, debit failures, and re-presentments.
- Drive improvements in turnaround time (TAT) and success rate.
- Work with IT/digital teams to enhance ECS platform capabilities.
- Ensure adoption of systems for tracking registration, activation, and collections.
- Drive automation in mandate lifecycle management.
- Work closely with:
- Branch Operations teams
- Sales / Distribution
- Central Retention teams
- Drive alignment to position ECS as a primary collection mode.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead central ECS team and guide field teams (supervisors / CCEs).
- Train teams on ECS pitch, objection handling, and conversion.
- Build strong governance through reviews and performance tracking.
