Lead ServiceNow Developer – HAM (Hardware Asset Management)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer with expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of asset lifecycle processes on the ServiceNow platform. The candidate will drive best practices, ensure compliance, and deliver scalable asset management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules
- Design and configure asset lifecycle processes including procurement, inventory, deployment, and disposal
- Manage and optimize asset tracking, stockrooms, and inventory workflows
- Configure business rules, workflows, UI policies, and client scripts
- Integrate ServiceNow with procurement systems, CMDB, and third-party tools
- Ensure data accuracy between HAM, CMDB, and ITSM modules
- Implement asset normalization, reconciliation, and audit processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements
- Perform code reviews and enforce development best practices
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of CMDB and ITSM processes
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform
- Expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and inventory processes
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting
- Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server)
