About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UI/UX Engineer to lead the design and development of intuitive, user-centric digital experiences across our platforms. This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering, blending creative vision with technical expertise to deliver high-quality, functional interfaces.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that our digital solutions are visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process from concept through to implementation

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analysis to inform design decisions

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and digital applications

• Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms

• Translate design concepts into functional front-end components where required

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs

• Optimise user journeys and interfaces based on feedback, data, and usability insights

• Mentor and support junior designers, promoting best practice and continuous improvement

• Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologies

These responsibilities reflect the core expectations of senior UI/UX roles, including leading design processes, conducting research, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver user-centred products.

What you'll need:

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in UI/UX design or UX engineering

• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects and problem-solving capability

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and usability best practices

• Experience with prototyping, wireframing, and interaction design

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is highly desirable

• Experience with design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
