Educational Qualifications-
Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)

Work Experience-
1-3 years of experience with a Big4 in a client facing environment working on Financial Services audits and/or international clients. End to end audit experience will be an added advantage
Asset Management/ Financial services practice would be preferred but not mandatory.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
In depth knowledge of external Audit for Financial Service clients and/or international clients
Experience on Financial Service Audits (i.e. Banking, Insurance, Asset Management, Real Estate) will be an added advantage
Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS will be an added advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Willingness and demonstrated experience to quickly and effectively climb learning curves

Roles & responsibilities
We are recruiting for a Senior in the Financial Service Audit team. Working as a Senior in this team, your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a team comprising of fresh graduates and experienced professionals.
Auditing and Incharging complex sections of the financial statements of companies as per country specific statutory requirements
Monitoring work, managing, and motivating the team to ensure deliverable meet necessary quality standards
Being active member of the Financial Service Audit engagement team and performing audit procedures
Contacting client and onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagement
Sharing knowledge, mentoring, and coaching the team members.
Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved.
Maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members.
Performance review of the team.
Review of the team's work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.
Building relationships with senior stakeholders both onshore as well as KRC
