ETL testing

Job Description:

• 4+ years of experience with ETL testing
• Responsible for validating data sources, extracting data applications of transformation logic and uploading data in target tables.
• Responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting the PBI developed for the system before it goes live.
• Should have worked extensively with SQL queries to test database functionality.
• Manage Power BI inventory and troubleshoot testing, reporting and inventory issues.
• Involve in all the phases of SDLC and STLC and gather the requirements from BA's.
• Test the database schema with the help of data architects.
• Work with the leadership team to analyze the current SDLC process and recommend process improvements.
• Used DevOps/MTM for storing, maintaining the test repository, bug tracking and reporting.
• Execute SQL queries to compare the data in the database with GUI (power bi dashboard) and web services.
• Involve in prioritizing the requirements according to business needs and putting all the requirements in Devops.
• Test the functionality of the application's front end on an application developed in Power Bi platform."
