Essential Job Functions:
- ead PostgreSQL strategy and architecture, focusing on AWS RDS to On-Prem migration.
- Drive end-to-end migration planning, execution, and validation with minimal downtime.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance PostgreSQL environments.
- Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Lead performance tuning and optimization for large-scale databases.
- Establish database standards, best practices, and governance.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams.
- Drive automation, monitoring, and DevOps integration (CI/CD).
- Provide L3/L4 production support, incident management, and RCA.
- Strong PostgreSQL expertise, migration experience, Linux skills, and experience handling large-scale databases.
MySQL - Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead end-to-end AWS RDS to On-Prem MySQL migration strategy and execution.
- Architect and implement large-scale migrations using logical, physical, and replication-based approaches.
- Enable near-zero downtime migrations through CDC (AWS DMS / MySQL replication).
- Plan and execute cutover activities, including rehearsals and production migration.
- Design and validate rollback and fallback mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency through validation, reconciliation, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless migration and optimized target environments.
- Exp: 9 to 12 years

- Experience with AWS RDS to On-Prem database migrations.

- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS DMS, replication technologies, and CDC.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, automation, monitoring, and CI/CD integration.
- Ability to manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and provide L3/L4 support.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
