About The Client:
A British multinational alcoholic beverage company, with its headquarters in London, England. It operates from 132 sites around the world. It is a major distributor of Scotch whisky and other spirits. Distilleries owned by Client produce 40% of all Scotch whisky with over 24 brands.
About The Job:
- You will analyse, evaluate, and optimize transportation concepts in our global supply chain networks.
- Skills:
- Analysing, evaluating, and optimizing transportation concepts in the customers’ global supply chain networks.
- Performing quantitative analyses and evaluating supply chain data, processes, and networks
- Identifying weak spots in the customers’ transportation networks
- Developing and evaluating different optimisation scenarios
- Implementing and developing innovative optimisation concepts
- MS Excel
- SAP Basic
- Power BI
Qualifications:
Education:
- University degree focusing on supply chain management, logistics, and/ or transportation management
- Some practical experience in transportation, automotive, or consulting through internships or other means
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a conceptual and structured way
- Very good communication skills in English as well as proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong interest in supply chain and transportation topics and an affinity for numbers
- Motivation to work with international teams in an exciting environment
