Role Details
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications professional to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at retaining and increasing student enrolments across our schools. In this role, you will work closely with school Principals and the wider Marketing & Communications team to deliver impactful campaigns and provide expert guidance across a range of marketing activities.
This is a full-time, contracted position, primarily based on-site at schools, with additional time spent engaging with the broader Marketing & Communications Team at our Thebarton Corporate Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement an effective marketing strategy to increase enrolments.
- Provide comprehensive marketing and communications support to both schools
- Shape and enhance the branding of schools
- Execute a variety of marketing duties to support the needs of the schools.
- Administer the schools’ social media accounts and websites to boost profiles and community engagement.
- Coordinate with external providers to develop professional marketing and promotional materials.
- Assist with the organising of marketing events and activities as required.
- Support system-wide marketing strategies and activities.
- Work closely with the Communications Lead – Brand & Marketing, to monitor marketing expenditure and review outcomes to optimise tactics.
About You
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a marketing and communications role.
- Experience in managing online content, planning and implementing social media strategies.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles including brand management and marketing strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages including desktop publishing and graphic design skills.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to prepare and edit content for various platforms and audiences.
- A tertiary qualification in public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
- High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to proofread.
- Organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop a positive rapport with others and build engaging, credible, trusting and respectful relationships.
- Ability to travel between schools and our head office in Thebarton.
