About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of mission-critical applications that support real-time monitoring, navigation, and decision-making for autonomous vessels. In this role, you will work across the entire tech stack, from designing scalable back-end services to developing high-performance front-end interfaces. You will collaborate with AI, perception, and robotics teams to build next-gen maritime autonomy solutions. This is a rare opportunity to engineer real-world, high-impact technology that operates in some of the most challenging environments on the planet.

Key Responsibilities

%CF; Architect & Develop scalable web applications and backend services for real-time data processing and visualization.

%CF; Architect and develop robust, maintainable services for real-time data processing, visualization, and communication.

%CF; Design & Implement RESTful APIs & WebSockets for real-time autonomous system communication.

%CF; Build Interactive Frontend Interfaces using React.js / Next.js, ensuring seamless UX for maritime operations.

%CF; Continuously refine systems to handle large volumes of sensor data efficiently, with an eye on latency, reliability, and cost.

%CF; Collaborate with AI & Robotics Teams to integrate cloud-based and edge-computing solutions.

%CF; Deploy & Manage Applications in cloud environments using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP.

%CF; Own deployment processes in on premise servers, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and

CI/CD pipelines for seamless releases.

%CF; Mentor & Guide Junior Developers, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

%CF; 5-7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development.

%CF; Proficiency in backend development with Node.js or Python.

%CF; Strong experience in frontend development with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript.

%CF; Expertise working with SǪL (PostgreSǪL, MySǪL), NoSǪL (MongoDB, Redis) and TimeSeries databases.

%CF; Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, gRPC, MǪTT).

%CF; Cloud deployment expertise – AWS, GCP, or Azure (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

%CF; Strong problem-solving skills, debugging capabilities, and performance optimization.

%CF; Experience working in fast-paced startups or high-performance engineering teams.

Good to have

%CF; Experience working with geospatial data.

%CF; Knowledge of robotics, IoT, or edge computing.
