Job Description:
SOLIZE Partners India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support electrical engineering projects for the Rail and Transportation industry. The role involves developing and maintaining electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel designs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) using tools such as ELCAD, E3 Zuken, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical. The candidate will work closely with global engineering teams to ensure compliance with international standards, support technical documentation, component selection, troubleshooting activities, and provide engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in ELCAD /E3 Zuken/ Eplan/ Autocad Electrical / similar electrical design tools
· Knowledge of ACC and MCC panel , Control Panel Design
· Strong understanding of control system design and Component Selection
· Hands-on experience with PLM tools (Preferably Windchill)
· Familiarity with HVAC systems and rail applications and Standards (preferred)
Additional Skills :
· Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
· Experience working in a remote, cross-cultural environment with European and other
international regions , ensuring effective communication and coordination
· Ability to adapt to different time zones with flexible working hours, including European,
American, and Australian shifts to support global teams
Key Responsibilities : (Mandatory)
· Define and manage electrical engineering projects .
· Create and maintain electrical schematics using ELCAD /E3 Zuken/ Eplan/ Autocad
Electrical
· Update electrical wiring diagrams and documentation in internal systems
· Define electrical materials and develop Bills of Materials (BOM)
· Familiarity with international standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, EN standards)
· Review and approve material lists using PLM tools (Preferably Windchill)
· Develop, edit, review, and approve test procedures and technical documentation
· Analyze technical documents and derive actionable insights
· Review / Prepare Clause-by-Clause (CbC) compliance documents
· Identify and propose alternate components for obsolete parts
· Provide technical solutions for service-related issues
· Support on-site troubleshooting and investigations (Willingness to travel)
· Exposure to field troubleshooting and On-site support
Key Responsibilities : (Additional/Desired)
· Define Functional System Design (SFD) based on customer specifications
· Hands-on experience in manufacturing prototype assistance, including build support,
testing, and validation
· Provide direct technical support to customers and resolve field issues
· Apply general standards and rules relevant to the Rail industry
· Experience in rail industry projects
· Knowledge of compliance standards applicable to Rail systems
