Secure by Design SD Wan Network security

Evaluate and ensure secure architecture design in line with organizational security policies and regulatory standards. Perform in-depth security posture assessments of products, projects, and solutions from a network and cloud security perspective. Recommend architectural and configuration improvements to mitigate identified risks early in the lifecycle.

Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and operations teams to influence security decisions during the solution design phase. Translate security principles into technical requirements for SD-WAN deployments, including segmentation, encryption, zero trust, and secure access. Review vendor offerings (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, VMware Velocloud, Zscaler, etc.) and help select appropriate solutions based on security efficacy, compatibility, and scalability.

Ensure alignment with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) frameworks and secure cloud connectivity strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Lead or participate in threat modeling, risk assessments, and compliance
