General Practitioner Yulara – Full Time / FIFO

Base Rate $217K to $260K

  • Living remote loading $50 / hour or 100k per annum
  • MMM7 WIP – Doctor Stream payment 25k-60k
  • Potential earnings $420K to over $530K per annum*

About working with Congress in the Yulara Clinic.

As a Yulara GP you'll working in a multidisciplinary environment with consulting visits to surrounding Aboriginal Community Clinic’s. In this dynamic environment clinical responses will be varied from everyday clinical presentations to those which will only experience in Central Australia.

For over 50 years Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress) has provided support and advocacy for Aboriginal people in the struggle for justice and equity. Since that time, Congress has expanded to become the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health service in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally responsive primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in Alice Springs and nearby remote communities.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for GPs who can build strong, trusting relationships with both patients and the community. If you have:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship.
  • Commitment to Culturally responsive care.

The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and bring exceptional clinical skills, a proactive, flexible attitude, coupled with a genuine respect for diverse patient backgrounds
