Job Overview :The Commis Chef supports senior kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to develop culinary skills and learn kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities :- Assist with the preparation and cooking of food under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.
- Ensure proper food storage and adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the team and take direction from senior chefs.
- Basic cooking knowledge and a passion for the culinary arts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary diploma or relevant experience preferred but not required.
