Job Description
Process Improvement (CIP):- Well versed with BPR (Business Process Engineering) and VSM (Value stream mapping) Well versed with quality tools like DMAIC,FMEA,SIPOC, Pareto analysis and application of Ishikawa diagram related to warehousing process and procedures. Should have implemented 5S, Visual management, Kaizen and 8D Report. Basic knowledge of safety concepts pertaining to warehousing operation (Operation safety, Electrical safety,PPE’s, First level of safety Audit).
Assist or coordinate with Regional / All India Safety manager for executing out the safety policy, process, procedures, Audits and Actions as required. Should have strong knowledge (Logical) on WMS (Warehouse management system) and its advance support function like RF and Barcode based operation etc. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required (Industrial/Mechanical/Production Engineering degree preferred) Minimum of 15 years experience working in logistics operations or logistics engineering support environment required Strong project management skills Knowledge of Six Sigma or other process improvement methods and Lean Logistics Advanced knowledge of all MS office products: Project, Visio, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint Proficient in AutoCAD Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self motivated and ability to work with minimum guidance Ability to inspire people to achieve a common goal Let us learn about you!
