Company Overview:

Our client is a diversified company operating in the Consumer Electronics, IT Infrastructure and Value-Added Services sectors. With a strong presence in South and West India, they have established a network of branded stores and authorized service centers across multiple states, looking to hire CFO based out of corporate office in Coimbatore.


Position Summary:

The CFO will oversee the company's financial operations, shaping the financial strategy and ensuring fiscal health. This role involves collaborating with the executive team to define long-term objectives and policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Operations:
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes. Ensure that financial activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Strategic Financial Planning:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy, focusing on long-term planning, risk assessment, and investment evaluation to support business growth.
  • Reporting:
  • Supervise the preparation and distribution of financial statements. Ensure timely communication of key financial information to stakeholders and manage relationships with auditors.
  • Capital Management:
  • Oversee fundraising efforts by engaging with financial institutions to secure necessary funding. Work on optimizing capital costs and maintaining liquidity ratios.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to financial activities, including tax obligations.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to align with business growth and changing market conditions. Strengthen internal controls to mitigate risks.
  • Audit Oversight:
  • Lead internal audit teams to ensure compliance with company policies and effective management of inventory.
  • IT Strategy Implementation:
  • Create IT strategies that support business objectives, ensuring robust systems are in place for seamless operations and driving automation initiatives.
  • Supply Chain Strategy:
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies, managing purchasing, inventory, vendor relations, and distribution processes.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Guide the Finance, IT, Audit, and Supply Chain teams, promoting professional development and participating in executive-level decision-making.


Educational Requirements:

  • CA or MBA in Finance with 15-20 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in senior financial management roles
  • Proficiency in MS Office and financial management software
  • Experience across various financial functions is a plus
