Your Job

As a Payroll Specialist at Koch India, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across APAC entities, particularly Singapore and the Philippines. This is an execution-focused role where you will apply deep payroll expertise to ensure seamless payroll delivery, strengthen controls, resolve complex issues, and enhance process efficiency while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and cross-functional teams.

Our Team

You will be part of a collaborative HR Solutions team within Koch, supporting multiple APAC entities. The team partners closely with Business HR, Finance, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure high-quality payroll delivery and a strong employee experience across regions.

What You Will Do

·Deliver end-to-end payroll operations with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance for APAC entities

·Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies, driving root cause analysis and implementing preventive controls

·Ensure compliance with country-specific statutory requirements, internal governance standards, and audit readiness

·Partner with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to enable seamless payroll processing and issue resolution

·Enhance employee experience by providing responsive, customer-focused support for payroll queries and exceptions

·Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, documentation, and standardization initiatives

·Strengthen payroll controls through robust reconciliation, validation, and documentation practices

·Support statutory filings, audits, and implementation of regulatory updates to ensure ongoing compliance

·Stay current with evolving payroll legislation and industry trends to maintain operational excellence

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

·Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll across APAC countries such as Singapore and Philippines

·Experience with payroll compliance, statutory requirements, and audit support

·Strong understanding of employee lifecycle events and their impact on payroll processing

·Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and drive resolution

·Ability to manage sensitive information with high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism

What Will Put You Ahead

·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, macros)

·Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paymaster

·Familiarity with Case Management tools (ServiceNow or similar)

·Experience in a shared services or centralized payroll environment

·Exposure to time and attendance systems such as UKG or i-admin

·Experience supporting Singapore-based employees or payroll operations

Working Conditions

·Standard business hours aligned to Singapore and Philippines operations (7 AM IST to 4 PM IST)

·Hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days per week in office; additional presence may be required based on business needs
