Job Title: Staff Nurse
Location: Gujarat (Surat , Ahmedabad)

Reports To: Nursing Supervisor-Head Nurse

Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established medical standards and procedures. This role includes patient assessment, administering treatments, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families about health conditions and care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols.

• Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and other medical treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes to the physician or healthcare team.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.

• Assist in medical procedures and surgeries as required.

• Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.

• Ensure infection control practices are followed to maintain a safe healthcare environment.

• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

• Respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively.

• Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical medical practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.

• Valid nursing license/certification as per local regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience as a Staff Nurse or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress effectively.

• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is an advantage.

Work Schedule:

• Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as per hospital/clinic requirements.
