JOB DESCRIPTION
Role & Responsibilities at macro level are as under:
Position: Manager – EXIM Documentation
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Imports shipments - Capex & Spares / Consumables / RMPM
Export licensing (application, obligation, redemption, closures etc.) & its
subsequent utilization for imports.
Outsourcing of licenses, its transfer & utilization
Record of licenses statement & its subsequent audits
Managing Service Vendors: CHA, Shipping Line, Freight Forwarder, Transport,
License Vendors & Consultant
Pre & Post Export incentives – Advance License / EPCG, PEPCG / MEIS & other
EXIM benefits. Application & subsequent closures related to all concerned
licenses. Close coordination with DGFT, Customs & related regulatory
Meet Legal / Regulatory / Labelling requirements of different countries / regions.
To keep the update on FTP & update on existing & new policies related to trade
Production Planning :
Product Costing, Packing / Packaging Standards, Regulatory & Labeling
standards / exemption for RMPM & FG for Beverages, Dairy, Water, CSD
categories
Co-ordination with factories for Product, Packaging, Production, Delivery
Procurement of PM (Laminates, Labels, Cartons etc)
Follow up with internal dept. (PAPL Factories, Taxation, Accounts, Purchase,
Logistics, Technical, QA, IT, Legal, R&D Compliance) / External suppliers for
overall coordination
Insurance : Marine, Credit Insurance, Product Liability Insurance, Insurance
related to Imports
Consumer Complaints
Overseeing Pre and Post shipment documentation
Record keeping & other misc. work
Other:
IEC, RCMC / Service & CP agreements, Renewals of Factory Certifications,
Renewals of membership with Apeda, FIEO, CII, Plexcil & other EXIM related
agencies
Team building – nurture talent and hire people in sales team to head sub-regions.
Increase effectiveness of reporting systems and drive adherence to processes
and systems
Manages all aspects of audits (Internal / External Statutory Audits)
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and
ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
