    Job Overview

    The Material Master Analyst is responsible for ensuring high-quality, consistent, and business-ready material master data that enables critical supply chain, planning, manufacturing, and order-to-delivery processes across GATD suppliers and plants , TESOG plants, and TE distribution centers.

    This role directly supports TE’s strategic objectives of 95%+ master data accuracy, operational automation, inventory optimization, and analytics-driven decision making. The analyst works closely with global process owners, planning teams, plants, and analytics partners to design, maintain, control, and continuously improve material master data standards in SAP.

    Roles & Responsibility:

    1. Material Master Data Management & Quality

  • Create, maintain, and govern material master data in SAP for Finished Goods, Sub-Assemblies, and Purchased Parts.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of key fields supporting:
  • Order Processing & Delivery Management
  • Inventory Segmentation & Planning
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP – Supply)
  • Master Data Management GATD - AUTO …

  • Own data elements such as:
  • MOQ, Delivery Unit, Minimum Delivery Quantity
  • Standard Package, Primary Package Quantity, Shipper Quantity
  • MRP Type, MRP Group, Lot Size, Safety Stock, Costing, Forecast Group
  • Material Status, Distribution Chain Status, Activity Status
  • 2. Business Process Enablement

  • Support automation of reports ,
  • Enable correct MRP behavior by maintaining planning parameters aligned to product and customer segmentation rules.
  • Actively support global initiatives such as:
  • Sales Master Data Quality (SMDQ)
  • Inventory Segmentation & Planning
  • IBP deployment by site
  • 3. Data Governance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Execute and sustain master data governance rules, default values, allowable ranges, and validation checks by segment.
  • Participate in Kaizen and BPI initiatives to improve data quality, reduce manual work, and eliminate process inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and resolve master data issues that cause:
  • SAP order blocks
  • Incorrect planning results
  • Manual packing or delivery workarounds
  • 4. Analytics & KPI Support

  • Support development and usage of dashboards (Power BI / Tableau) for:
  • Sales Master Data Quality
  • Inventory health and DOH
  • Planning performance and lead-time adherence
  • Analyze trends, root causes, and systemic data gaps; recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with TEOA Analytics Spoke teams and planning teams to ensure data integrity behind KPIs
  • 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
  • Global & regional planning teams
  • Manufacturing plants
  • Order management and customer service
  • IT, ERP, and analytics teams
  • Support a hub-and-spoke operating model, including collaboration with the

    Desired Candidate Profile :

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in:
  • Master Data Management
  • Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing, or Logistics
  • SAP Material Master or related ERP modules
  • Technical Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP Material Master (MM, PP, SD integration)
  • Understanding of:
  • MRP logic and planning parameters
  • Packaging, logistics units, and containerization
  • Inventory segmentation and planning concepts
  • Experience working with data quality KPIs and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

  • Comfortable supporting standardized global processes while managing regional realities
