Summary:

We are seeking a commercial, agile, and sharp Finance Business Partner to join our global finance team. This is a dual-impact role split into two distinct areas of ownership:

• 75% APAC Regional Finance Business Partnering: Act as the primary financial co-pilot for the APAC leadership team, driving regional growth, managing forecasts, and optimizing commercial outcomes.
• 25% Global COGS & OPEX Management: Analyse global Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses (OPEX), reporting directly to the Global Financial Controller to ensure tight cost control and margin optimization across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. APAC Business Partnering (75%)

• Strategic Commercial Support: Partner closely with the APAC Regional Delivery and leadership teams to drive financial performance, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate risks.
• Cash Collection, Accruals and Deferrals: Create, review and send customer sales invoices in-line with the contract and statement of work agreed by the customer and Lemongrass. Review Calculate and post the journal of any revenue accruals and deferrals based on those invoices and contracts.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Own the regional budgeting, forecasting, and rolling variance analysis (Actuals vs. Targets) for the APAC Region.
• Deal Commercial Review: Review and support commercial bids, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations for cloud services and professional engagements in the region to ensure due diligence is adhered to.
• Regional Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable monthly financial insights and KPIs to regional stakeholders, translating complex data into strategic recommendations.

2. Global COGS & OPEX Management (25%)

• Global Cost Management: Asses in the management and analysis of the global GL lines for COGS and OPEX, working closely with the Global Financial Controller.
• Margin & Efficiency Analysis: Analyse cloud infrastructure spend, delivery costs, and overheads to identify efficiency gains and optimize Lemongrass’s gross margins.
• Month-End Collaboration: Support the global finance team during month-end closing by ensuring accurate accruals, prepayments, and variance commentary for OPEX and COGS.
• Budget Ownership: Collaborate with global department heads to track expenditures against budget, flagging potential overruns before they occur.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, ACA or qualified by experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of industry specific finance experience, ideally with a background in Professional Services, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), or the broader Tech/SaaS sector.
• Regional Knowledge: Proven experience working with or managing financial operations within the APAC region (understanding of regional tax, compliance, and multi-currency environments is a plus).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills are a must. There won’t be ERP systems available to help with large and complex data so the ability to problem solve in Excel is important.
