Management Accountant

THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading network and brand, and known for their strong presence in the Australian community.

Due to a resignation in the head office accounting team, our client is seeking a capable senior accountant with strong communication skills. If you are looking to make the transition from public practice into commercial accounting, this is the role for you!

THE ROLE

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Take ownership/responsibility for your client list, managing client expectations and deliverables
• Ensure financial reports are completed on time with commentary as required.
• Ensure all GST and Payroll tax returns are lodged accurately and on time
• Monitor, coach and develop your direct reports and facilitate their performance reviews.
• Provide the franchisees with exemplary client service, focussing on proactivity and responsiveness.

ABOUT YOU

• Commercial experience, or at least 4 years’ experience in Tax & Business Services
• CA/CPA qualified
• Solid understanding of the Balance sheet and Profit & Loss function
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to liaise with franchise store owners via zoom, by phone, and face-to-face
• A history of mentoring junior staff
