About the Role


We are looking for a dynamic and fast-paced Video Editor for our new YouTube channel focused purely on Business News, Finance, Markets, Startups, and Economy updates . The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a newsroom or digital news setup and strong expertise in creating engaging, high-retention video content for YouTube audiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Edit daily business news videos, market updates, startup stories, explainers, interviews, and trending finance topics.
  • Create visually engaging YouTube videos with strong storytelling, pacing, and audience retention focus.
  • Add graphics, charts, lower thirds, stock visuals, transitions, subtitles, and sound design.
  • Work closely with anchors, scriptwriters, and editorial team for timely video delivery.
  • Handle quick edits for breaking business news and market developments.
  • Create thumbnails support visuals and optimize videos for YouTube performance.
  • Ensure high-quality output aligned with brand tone and business-news credibility.
  • Maintain organized footage library and editing workflow.


Required Skills

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Video Editor in news channel / business news / digital media / YouTube content .
  • Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or similar tools.
  • Good understanding of business news formats, financial storytelling, and current affairs trends.
  • Experience in editing explainers, news capsules, shorts, and long-form YouTube videos.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and fast turnaround timelines.
  • Strong sense of pacing, clean visuals, text placement, and audio quality.
  • Basic knowledge of charts, infographics, and motion graphics preferred.
