HR Generalist

Description

Role Objective: To build, strengthen and scale the organization’s human capital by driving end-to-end HR operations across talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, HRMS management, payroll coordination, statutory compliances and organizational culture. This is a critical position directly responsible for strengthening the organization’s people practices, talent pipeline and long-term growth culture.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Drive end-to-end recruitment across corporate, retail and operational functions; build sourcing channels through job portals, consultants, referrals and networking; coordinate interviews, evaluations, offer rollouts and onboarding; maintain a structured recruitment tracker and hiring pipeline.
  • Payroll, HR Operations & Compliance: Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance and leave management; ensure adherence to statutory HR compliances and labour laws; maintain accurate employee records, contracts and HR documentation; coordinate with external consultants and agencies for statutory requirements.
  • HRMS Management & Process Implementation: Manage and optimize HRMS platforms for attendance, payroll, leave and employee records; develop and implement HR policies, SOPs and employee processes; ensure timely reporting and documentation across HR functions.
  • Performance Management & Employee Development: Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and tracking mechanisms; assist leadership in defining KRAs, KPIs and performance benchmarks; support execution of training and capability development initiatives.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage onboarding, confirmation and separation processes; conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends; support talent retention initiatives and ensure smooth employee experience across the lifecycle.
  • Employee Engagement & Organisational Culture: Drive engagement initiatives, reward and recognition programs and internal communication; build a positive, high-performance work culture; support conflict resolution, grievance handling and employee relationship management; ensure alignment with organizational values.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar Human Resources role.
  • Hands-on exposure to recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement and HR operations.
  • Experience in retail, healthcare, startup or multi-location organizations preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple HR functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred.
