Assistant Design Manager

Job Summary:

Incumbent should be experienced in Pre Engineered and Structural steel with good exposure in design and optimization of large structural projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis and Design of Pre-engineered steel buildings/structures using STAADPro
• Optimization of the drawings in line with the customer requirements
• Preparation of Design sketches and calculations
• Performing connection designs for Structural / PEB buildings
• Estimation of quantities.
• Checking of approval drawings
• Incumbents from an Oil, Gas, power with relevant experience in design of steel structures and their optimization would be given preference.
• Handles customer queries and should be able to analyze, understand and optimize drawings with cost effective solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Candidate with 8+ years in Design of Steel structures preferably PEB companies / consultancy / engineering organizations
• Incumbents working in Oil & Gas, Power and heavy Industrial sectors with relevant requisite experience in steel and Structural designs would be given preference.
• Thorough Knowledge of INDIAN STANDARDS, AISC, MBMA, STAAD.Pro, AUTOCAD , MS office
• Experience in design of steel and R.C.C industrial & multi storied STRUCTURES/BUILDINGS preferably Pre-engineered buildings
• Knowledge of studying the architectural drawings and understanding the customer requirement
• Hardworking, dedicated, soft spoken and smart enough to understand the organizational requirements.
• Good communication skills and a team player

Education:

B TECH ( CIVIL) with M TECH (STRUCTURES) mandatory
