Job Description
Job Title: Zonal Head – Sales & Marketing (Container Glass)
Location: Assigned Zone (India)
Reporting To: Group Head / National Sales Head
Job Purpose
The Zonal Head will be responsible for driving sales, managing key customers, and expanding market presence for container glass products within the assigned zone. The role focuses on revenue growth, customer relationships, and effective team management.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead sales and business development for the assigned zone
· Manage and grow key accounts in FMCG, beverage, liquor, pharma, and food segments
· Achieve zonal sales targets for volume, value, and profitability
· Develop pricing, contracts, and long-term customer agreements in coordination with HO
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
· Lead & Mentor support marketing executives of the zone
· Coordinate with production, supply chain, and quality teams for smooth order execution
· Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit policies
· Represent the company in major customer meetings and industry forums
Key Requirements
· Graduate / MBA in Marketing or Business preferred
· 10–15 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in container glass or related packaging industries
· Strong understanding of FMCG, beverage, liquor, or pharma packaging markets
· Proven experience in managing large territories and key accounts
· Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
· Willingness to travel extensively within the zone
