Senior Software Engineer - Mainframe

Description

We are looking for a 3rd Line/Software Maintenance Engineer with expertise in Mainframe technology. The candidate will be responsible for handling the maintenance and support of the Mainframe application, specifically CICS - Customer Information Control System on IBM Mainframe and COBOL. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supporting the Mainframe application for Insurance Application
• Resolving any issues related to the application
• Developing functionality
• Performing troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Ensuring the application is running smoothly and meeting business requirements
• Collaborating with the trading team to understand their needs and provide necessary support
• Working on enhancements and improvements to the application

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and experience in Mainframe technology
• Expertise in CICS - Customer Information Control System on IBM Mainframe
• Proficiency in COBOL programming
• Must be able to work from the office occasionally
• Completion of a project interview is required
• English language proficiency at a B1 level

• Experience with DB2 for LUW
