Job Summary

The Strategy Analyst will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing key strategic initiatives focused on aligning Food for Hungry’s (FH) mission, vision, and operational strategies. This role will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Strategy as well as with key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive FH’s strategic growth and impact globally. Responsibilities will include completing rigorous external market and internal data analysis, high-level financial modeling and scenario planning, collaborating with leadership to translate insights into actionable plans, overseeing cross-functional projects, and presenting key findings to internal leaders as needed.

  • Responsibilities

  • Identify root causes of key strategic issues and develop recommendations for addressing based on rigorous scoping, analyzing, and presentation of relevant data
  • Analyze market data, competitor activity, and internal performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks
  • Build high-level financial models and conduct scenario analysis to support recommendations and drive organizational decision-making
  • Partner with various departments – including Finance, Resource Development, Program Delivery, Risk, and Project Management –to align strategies and drive implementation
  • Lead strategic initiatives, manage project workstreams, and ensure timely execution
  • Prepare and present complex analytical findings and recommendations to internal leadership in clear, concise formats
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, business analysis, or relevant business operations
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing strategic problem-solving frameworks
  • Proven track record in leading complex, cross-functional projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence senior stake holders of a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics or a related field; MBA is a plus.
