Position Overview
The Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring timely and quality completion of finished product job work at designated contract/job work sites. The role involves daily coordination with vendors, tracking production status, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting daily MIS to the organisation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency, cost control, and adherence to delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Site & Job Work Management
- Coordinate and supervise job work activities at assigned contract manufacturing sites.
- Ensure finished product work is executed as per company quality standards and timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Ethera Diamonds and job work vendors.
- Resolve operational issues at contract sites and escalate concerns to the Operations Manager when required.
- Production & Finished Goods Tracking
- Monitor daily production progress for finished products.
- Track work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, and pending job work
- Ensure timely movement of material between the factory, job work sites, and warehouse.
- Inventory Control & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of raw material issued, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
- Reconcile physical inventory with records on a regular basis.
- Identify and report shortages, excess inventory, or discrepancies promptly.
Daily MIS & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily MIS reports covering job work status, production output, inventory levels, rejections, rework, and delays.
- Maintain documentation related to material movement, job work challans, and acknowledgements.
- Compliance & Process Adherence Ensure job work is carried out as per SOPs and contractual terms.
- Support audits and internal reviews with accurate operational data.
- Adhere to company policies related to inventory, reporting, and vendor management.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and execution skills.
- Understanding of job work/contract manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and inventory management.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in Commerce / Operations / Supply Chain / Business Administration. (A relevant diploma or certification in operations or inventory management will be preferred.)
- Experience Requirements - 1-3 years.
- 1–3 years of experience in operations, job work coordination, or production support. Experience in manufacturing jewellery, diamonds, or finished goods operations will be an added advantage.
Working Conditions
- Regular interaction with external job work sites
- Local travel within Jaipur as required
- Six working days per week (as per company policy) (Sunday is Off)
