Job Title:

Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Project or Channel Sales (Bathware)

Location:

Chennai.

Reporting To:

Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Head

Role Purpose:

To drive project and channel sales for the Bathware division , expand market presence, build strong relationships with influencers and channel partners, and achieve revenue and collection targets for Simpolo Bathware .

Key Responsibilities: Project Sales
  • Develop and manage project business with builders, developers, architects, consultants, contractors, and PMC’s.

  • Identify upcoming residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional projects.

  • Conduct product presentations, mock-ups, and technical discussions.

  • Coordinate for approvals, BOQs, quotations, order finalization, and execution.

  • Ensure timely billing, dispatch, and payment collections.

Channel Sales
  • Appoint, manage, and grow dealers, distributors, and retailers for bathware products.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Drive secondary sales and improve market coverage.

  • Implement trade schemes, promotions, and visibility programs.

  • Monitor dealer stock, aging, and credit exposure.

Market Development
  • Increase market penetration and brand visibility in the assigned region.

  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

  • Ensure effective merchandising and display at dealer outlets.

  • Support new product launches and promotional campaigns.

Team & Reporting
  • Manage and mentor Sales Officers / Executives.

  • Prepare sales forecasts, MIS, and performance reports.

  • Coordinate with logistics, finance, and marketing teams for smooth operations.

Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: 3–7 years in Bathware / Sanitaryware / Bathroom Fittings with strong exposure to Project or Channel Sales .

  • Education: Graduate / MBA (preferred).

  • Strong network with builders, architects, and channel partners.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

  • Ready for extensive travel within the assigned territory.
