Role Overview:
The FP&A Senior Executive will be responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis and profitability insights through detailed GL scrutiny, deal and product P&Ls, and end‑to‑end reconciliations. The role requires independent ownership, strong analytical capability, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support cost optimization, zero‑based costing initiatives, and informed business decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently analyze and review various aspects of General Ledger (GL) to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Prepare Deal-level P&Ls and perform reconciliations with SAP
- Conduct Order-to-Cash (O2C) reconciliations, including reversal entries
- Build, analyze, and interpret Product P&Ls to drive performance insights
- Perform PR/PO/GL dump analysis to derive costing insights and support Zero-Based Costing initiatives
- Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) with 7–8 years of relevant experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting roles
Desirable Qualifications
- MBA (Finance preferred) with 4–5 years of relevant experience
Key Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in reconciliations and GL scrutiny
- Ability to independently manage complex financial analyses
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and teams
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets / SharePoint and other reporting tools
- Hands-on experience and strong comfort working with SAP
