Job Title: Product Manager Quantum Computers


A Product Manager for Quantum Computing bridges the gap between deep scientific research (physics/quantum mechanics) and commercial application. They define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hardware (trapped-ion, superconducting qubits) or software (compilers, algorithms) and lead them from research prototypes to market-ready products.

Typical Job Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Roadmap: Develop long- and short-term product strategies, prioritizing features based on user feedback, technical maturity, and market demand.
  • Requirement gathering : Collect the requirement from institutional clients for both on prem Quantum computer deployment and QCaaS (Quantum Compute as a Service) and come up regional product strategies (India , South east Asia, MENA region , south America and USA)
  • Technical Translation: Translate complex technical goals—such as qubit fidelity thresholds, gate performance, or compiler efficiencies—into actionable engineering requirements.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Coordinate with R&D, quantum hardware engineers, software developers, and commercial teams (sales/marketing) to align on timelines and technical constraints.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM): Define and execute launch strategies for quantum hardware and software services.
  • Customer & Market Analysis: Engage with customers (e.g., in finance, logistics, chemistry) to understand use cases and identify market opportunities for quantum advantage.
  • Content Creation: Develop technical marketing collateral, including white papers, product demos, and case studies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. In addition MBA or equivalent from IIMs , ISB or similar universities
  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in deep tech, High-Performance Computing (HPC), or quantum computing.
  • Technical Familiarity: Demonstrated understanding of quantum computing principles, algorithms, or hardware architectures.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.
