Description:
Start: ASAP
Technical Requirement Overview: Design, configure, and support the technical connectivity between SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) platform and SAP ECC (R/3) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish SAP IBP & ECC Connectivity
· Design, implement, and support end‑to‑end connectivity between SAP IBP (cloud) and SAP ECC R/3 (on‑prem).
· Configure and maintain:
o CPI‑DS (Cloud Platform Integration – Data Services)
o SAP CPI (Integration Suite) connectivity where applicable.
· Set up and troubleshoot:
o RFC destinations
o HTTP(S) connections
o SAP Cloud Connector
o SAP BTP sub‑accounts and trust relationships
Perform Basis Technical Configuration and Troubleshooting
· Perform Basis configuration related to integration scenarios.
· Manage SAP certificates, SSL/TLS, and secure communication between cloud and on‑prem systems.
· Coordinate SAP kernel, support pack, and add‑on compatibility for IBP integration.
· Manage Transports.
· Manage Data copy between environments.
· Manage workload of background processing using SAP Tuning strategy.
· Manage Switch framework, SAP Add-ons, soamanager for API connectivity.
· Monitor and troubleshoot:
o Data extraction and load jobs
o CPI‑DS and CPI message failures
o Performance and connectivity issues
Security & Compliance
· Work with SAP Security team to ensure secure system‑to‑system communication and compliance with corporate security standards.
Delivery Support
· Collaborate with functional, integration, and project teams during the implementation phase
· Produce technical documentation covering connectivity architecture and configuration settings and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
