Assistant Manager - Business Development and Portfolio

The incumbent will also contribute to partner identification and evaluation, due diligence activities, and regulatory strategy development to enable effective portfolio planning and execution. Key responsibilities: Opportunity Assessment Analyze disease areas, competitive landscape, unmet medical needs, and treatment gaps to identify product opportunities for 505(b)(2) and ANDA licensing opportunities for business expansion. Prepare concise product and indication‑level assessment reports covering medical, regulatory, and market dynamics.

Competitive landscape of ongoing projects or under evaluation through data analysis and strategic evaluations. Management Presentations Compile and analyze data to prepare presentations supporting management discussions on financials, R&D reviews, and governance meetings. Analyze and compile quarterly financial reports.

Prepare brief and insight‑driven product reports. Partner Evaluation & Due Diligence Screen external products, technologies, and companies for licensing or co‑development opportunities. Support technical, regulatory, and portfolio fit assessments during due diligence and industry engagements.

Regulatory Intelligence & Strategic Support Track and analyze regulatory approvals, Complete Response Letters (CRLs), guidances, drug shortages, recalls, and exclusivity expirations to assess potential business opportunities and strategic impact. Support the assessment of clinical, non‑clinical, and bioequivalence bridging requirements for 505(b)(2) development programs. Qualifications and Skills: - Master’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proficiency in technical understanding of products. - Familiarity with USFDA regulations and pharmaceutical industry trends.
