Find what drives you on a team with a more than 75-year history of discovery, determination, and innovation.\n\nThis position reports to a Engineering Manager/Team Leader and is part of the Energy+ Global Process Engineering team located in Pune, India and will be an on-site role.\n\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to:\nProduce engineering documentation (on time, to budget, and of suitable quality) to support requests for quotes, customer orders, manufacturing, suppliers, etc. such as drawings, calculations, data sheets, and procedures which meets customer specifications, current legislation, and the Pall Quality Management System.\nWork as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety, reliability, robustness, and functionality which is easy to manufacture, operate, and maintain.\nProvide manufacturing support to ensure factories have consistent output, quality, and costs.\nParticipate in and lead technical clarification meetings with other groups at Pall as well as customers and suppliers. \nParticipate in and lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with customers, suppliers on product technical issues.\nThrough a process of continuous improvement and VAVE, develop the processes and products across all disciplines so that time and cost can be optimized whilst still ensuring a robust and effective process’ and products\n\nThe essential requirements of the job include:\nB.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or Insdustrial).\nMinimum years of work experience required is 4-6 years in the relevant areas, preferred design experience.\nGood understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels/housing, ASME codes and standard and other international standards\nHands-on experience on PV elite software and process systems, as per international standards.\nGood knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting, and sealing mechanisms.\nAbility to multi-task.\nVery good communication (English).\n\nTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:\nAbility to travel – 20 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations\nMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record\n\nIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:\nMinimum 3-5 years' experience in design of filtration and pressure vessels/housings products or equivalent.\n\nJoin our winning team today.
