AWS is looking for a dynamic Commissioning Engineer (CxE) to support the delivery of AWS Data Centers. As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer, you will be part of highly creative, efficient team tasked with tackling fascinating and challenging problems building and supporting the operations of AWS owned data centres within the APJC region and globally.

The AWS Data Center Capacity Delivery Commissioning team (DCCD Cx) understands, evaluates, defines and manages the expectations of construction and equipment quality in accordance to engineering designs to meet the customer requirements.\n\nKey job responsibilities\nThe responsibilities of the DCCD Cx Commissioning Engineer (CxE) include, but are not limited to, oversight and coordination of multi-discipline division of work related to pre-commissioning and commissioning of Amazon critical infrastructure construction and special projects.\n\nThe CxE is responsible for supporting and supervising vendors, contractors and other teams involved in the construction and commissioning of various systems including medium and low voltage power systems, Generators, UPS, HVAC, Chilled Water, BMS and EPMS systems. They provide multi-discipline input into the scheduling, designing and planning of projects. In addition, the CxE will be required to review all multi-discipline integrated systems testing and commissioning documents to ensure they are compliant with the basis of design, specifications and standards of the project.\n\nThe CxE is responsibile to ensure that all commissioning procedures follow the appropriate safety practices, policies and procedures.

They enthusiastically participates in all project and company safety programs. CxE must also audit commissioning activities continuously to ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements. The CxE proactively communicates with the DCCD Cx Regional Manager and the DCCD Cx team to ensure that the applicable test documents are created in accordance with all commissioning requirements.

Following the AWS project reporting format, the CxE is responsible for weekly reporting of commissioning progress and metrics for assigned project. When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there's nothing we can't achieve.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n- 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience\n- 5+ years of commissioning experience\n- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field\n- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Professional Engineer License\n- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region\n- Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production\n- Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents\n- certification in commissioning such as NETA or ASHRAE\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
