EDI Engineer, Devices Software and Services

What will you help us create?\n\nAmazon's Device Software and Services team is seeking an EDI Analyst that can own end-to-end partner integration. We are actively developing new integration workflows with new and existing partners to enhance our automation and execute at scale and speed.\n\nAs an EDI Analyst on the Partner Integration team, you are responsible for obtaining and understanding EDI requirements, as well as building and automating messaging to support digital device manufacturing, fulfillment and sales. The analyst has a full picture view and is encouraged to identify areas for improvement across multiple business units.\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or other related fields\n- Experience developing and driving projects with tight schedules and multiple dependencies\n- 3+ years of experience with ANSI X.12 and EDIFACT or similar EDI standard.\n- 3+ years of experience with EDI communications standards and protocols: AS2, SFTP, VAN, HTTPS; and with at least one EDI software platform (Webmethods, Seeburger, Gentran, TLE, BizTalk, etc.).\n- 3+ years of experience writing functional design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems.\n- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehouse and Transport management within Distribution, Retail, Manufacturing or Transport industry.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network\n- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation\n- Experience with EDI development in manufacturing and retail environment.\n- Experience working with large manufacturers.\n- Experience with Order and Financial series documents such as 850, 855, 856, 810, ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC.\n- Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.\n\nOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
