Job Description

We are seeking passionate, analytical, and tech-forward Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in English Language Arts (ELA) to build comprehensive digital learning courses aligned with the US curriculum.

If you have deep expertise in K-12 pedagogy, a love for literary analysis, and want to leverage cutting-edge educational technology to foster student literacy, we want to hear from you!

This role covers a broad developmental spectrum spanning Elementary, Middle, and High School levels (Grades 3–12 ).


Key Responsibilities:


1. Subject Matter Expertise:

  • Conduct thorough research on key literary works, genres, and themes relevant to Grade 3-5 ELA. (Note: Responsibilities also extend across grades 6-12 based on the assigned course block).
  • Stay informed about current educational trends and best practices in language arts instruction.

2. Instructional Design and Development:

  • Create detailed lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure student understanding and writing proficiency.
  • Design supplementary materials, such as reading guides, writing prompts, and multimedia resources, to enhance the learning experience.

3. Collaboration and Feedback:

  • Collaborate with curriculum developers, educators, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with educational goals.
  • Incorporate feedback from peer reviews and pilot testing to refine lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Participate in virtual collaboration sessions with the our team to discuss progress and share insights.


Qualifications & Skills:


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning for English Language Arts.
  • Strong knowledge of literary analysis and writing instruction.
  • Experience teaching English Language Arts at the high school level.
  • Must be comfortable working with AI Tools, and should be open to work on Articulate Rise (training will be provided).

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and instructional technology.
