Netapp Storage Engineer\nLocation: Bangalore\nExperience: 5-12 years\nImmediate joiner preferred.\n\nIf you are immediate joiner, Please share resume to with Sub of \"NetApp\" along with notice period.\n\nResponsibilities\n• Expertise in Administration, configuration, and management of NetApp (cluster mode) & EMC Storage arrays like Unity, PowerStore & SC series.\n• Very Good knowledge/experience on NAS / SAN.\n• NFS and CIFS shares configuration and troubleshooting.\n• Creating and managing Aggregates, Pools, volumes, Qtree, LUNs, export policies, etc.\n• Good experience on SAN storage provisioning, LUN masking and zoning.\n• Good understanding on NFS, CIFS, ISCSI & FCP Protocol’s.\n• Experience on Storage capacity planning, performance analysis, monitoring, reporting, etc.\n• Good experience on SAN switches (Brocade) administration, configuration & Management.\n• Exposure to Data Protection techniques like snapshot and Snapmirror\n• Must know performance monitoring using NetApp OCUM, Performance Manager EMC Unisphere/CLI tools\n• Good knowledge/troubleshooting on end-to-end connectivity from host to storage array • Knowledge on CommVault backup tool.\n• Knowledge of multiple operating systems like windows, Linux, Esxi\n• Working hours (12.00 IST to 20.00 IST)\n• SME with good knowledge on the following technologies – SAN (HPE 3Par, IBM, Dell EMC), NAS (ISILON, Unity, NetApp & VMWare), Object (HPE, iTernity), HPE/ Cohesity, Dell ECS Backup (Veeam, IBM ISSP, Dell EMC)\n• Good knowledge of storage & backup subsystems like NetApp, EMC.\n• Architect, Install and configure storage, backup, and DR solutions on client projects.\n•Maintaining storage and VMWare inventory of customer environment.\n• User group management in ADS\n• Administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of Netapp unified storage.\n• Experience in maintenance activities in Netapp Storage and VMWare\n• Experience in Performance Analysis and Tuning of storage subsystems is mandatory\n• Experience in Storage data migration techniques is most important\n• SAN switch deep knowledge base should include Brocade/CISCO switches, Director & routers\n• Expert Knowledge of backup technologies\n• Experience in handling windows servers.\n• Troubleshoot performance issues in SAN/Storage/Backup\n• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot file services such as NFS & CIFS\n• Deploy and manage local/remote replications\n•Deploy and manage backup solutions\n•Develop high level and low-level Storage and backup design drawings and design documents.\n• Perform migrations\n• Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in Storage domain.\n• Ability to understand and analyse client requirements in Storage domain (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions\n• Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Storage and backup\n\nQualifications Minimum qualifications\n• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience\n\nPreferred qualifications / Skills\n• NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA), Data ontap 7-mode.\n• NetApp certified Data Administrator (NCDA), Data ontap.\n• NetApp Hardware Installation Fundamentals.\n• Cluster Data Ontap fundamentals.\n• NetApp Storage Architecture and technologies.\n• Windows Server: 2008 & 2012\n• NetApp: Unified FAS Storage, 7 Mode, Cluster Mode, E Series\n• VMWare: ESXI 5.1, 5.5, 5,6, 6.0, 6.5, 7.0\n• FC Switch : Cisco MDS, Brocade 300
