Frontend Developer

We’re looking for someone who can design and maintain high-quality TypeScript SDKs, developer facing APIs, and reusable frontend systems that other developers will directly interact with and depend on. Your code will be visible to external developers and engineering teams, so usability, maintainability, performance, and API design quality matter deeply. You’ll work across product frontend engineering and SDK/platform development using React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern frontend tooling.\n\nThe role requires strong judgment in frontend architecture, reusable abstractions, integration design, performance optimization, and long-term maintainability.

That means high autonomy, fast iteration cycles, and team members who are willing to put in extra effort when it counts during critical sprints.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nSDK & Developer Platform Engineering\nDesign and maintain TypeScript SDKs and developer-facing libraries.\nBuild reusable abstractions, APIs, and frontend utilities that external developers can reliably integrate with.\nDesign maintainable SDK interfaces with scalability and developer usability in mind.\nContribute to package architecture, frontend platform consistency, and reusable component systems.\nWrite robust automated tests for SDK reliability and frontend quality.\nContribute to developer experience improvements across tooling, package structure, and integration workflows.\n\nProduct Frontend Development\nBuild and maintain responsive, accessible UI components using React 19 and TypeScript.\nImplement user-focused designs using Tailwind CSS.\nContribute to frontend architectural planning to ensure maintainable and scalable solutions.\nApply independent problem-solving to resolve complex UI and integration challenges.\nOptimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.\nHandle client-side routing, data fetching, and form logic using TanStack Router, React Query, and React Hook Form.\nIntegrate frontend systems with backend APIs in collaboration with backend developers.\nParticipate in code reviews, advocate engineering best practices, and maintain high code quality standards.\n\nMust-Have Skills\n6 years of professional software engineering experience in employed roles (independent project work does not count toward experience requirements).\nStrong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, React.js, HTML, and CSS.\nExperience building public SDKs, open-source libraries, or developer-facing APIs.\nStrong understanding of package architecture, API design, and reusable frontend abstractions.\nStrong testing experience using Jest, React Testing Library, or equivalent frameworks.\nStrong React Hooks and component-driven development experience.\nExperience with Tailwind CSS.\nExposure to React Query, React Hook Form, and TanStack Router.\nUnderstanding of responsive design principles, accessibility best practices, state management heuristics, and frontend optimization techniques.\nAbility to assess architectural trade-offs and contribute to frontend technical design discussions.\nStrong Git workflows and code review discipline.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently.\n\nBonus Skills\nExperience with npm package publishing, semantic versioning, and package lifecycle management.\nStrong understanding of API ergonomics and developer experience principles.\nExperience optimizing frontend packages for bundle size, performance, and tree-shaking.\nExperience writing SDK documentation, integration examples, and developer onboarding material.\nExperience with Next.js or similar frameworks Familiarity with data visualization frameworks (ChartJS, D3JS, or similar).\nExperience building SDKs or frontend tooling used by external developers at scale.\nFamiliarity with monorepo tooling and package management systems.\nKnowledge of CI/CD workflows and automated package release pipelines.\nExposure to cloud platforms like GCP.\nExposure to Postgres or backend API integrations.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related quantitative field.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCareer Edge in AI: Contribute to an AI evaluation platform while building developer-grade SDKs and frontend systems in a rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.\nRemote -friendly setup, with day-to-day work managed directly by the company and payroll/compliance handled by an Employer of Record (EOR).\nCompetitive compensation with bi-annual performance bonuses and annual milestone-based incentives.\nGroup medical insurance and statutory benefits included in your package.\nCompany -funded access to leading learning platforms.\nEmployment will be structured through a trusted Employer of Record (EOR) to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance.
