The ideal candidate will have a strong background in qualification of mechanical & Electromechanical parts, cost analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role will focus on identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities while maintaining product quality and performance.\nAs Mechanical Engineer II you will lead, design and qualify products which are globally manufactured and help to reduce the cost, drive design standardization across sites.\nDrive product cost analysis, benchmarking, Value analysis & value engineering independently.\nPerform cost benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for given project.\nPerform VAVE study and identify cost out opportunities which are quality neutral\nStrong design knowledge and exposure towards global qualification standards\nEnsures that assigned projects are delivered timely, to specification, and at or below targeted cost through solid engineering plans, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment.\nApproaches problems in a rational manner and with outstanding tools to ensure comprehensive understanding and effective resolution.\nHelps team to grow technical depth and build proficiency across product lines.\nPromotes an environment of learning, coordinates technical training, addresses and fills technical gaps, and helps to buildup technical pipeline.\nEfficiently collaborates with sourcing, operations, quality, service and global R&D team, as well as external suppliers, vendors and customers.\nSkills and Proficiencies: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering\n8+ years overall experience with Having strong record of driving strategic Cost out / VAVE deliveries. Experience in product VAVE project execution.\nHands on experience in Product Cost analysis, Teardown, Competitive benchmarking, Value Analysis and Value Engineering.\nHandled E2E cost out/VAVE projects (Scoping to Implementation).\nAwareness of regulatory requirements, certification, and engineering standards\nExcellent interpersonal, and critical thinking skills\nAbility to influence team members.\n\n]]>
