Job Position: Chartered Accountant

Experience: 3+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a CA firm, Big 4, consulting firm, or CFO

Languages required: English

CTC Range:  10 to 12 LPA

Office Timing: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM

Weekdays: 5 days

Location: Ahmedabad

About the Role - The company is looking for a driven and experienced Chartered Accountant to join their CFO Services division. In this high-impact role, you will serve as a strategic finance partner to their clients spanning financial reporting, compliance, ERP transformations, and management consulting engagements. You will work directly with client leadership, lead cross-functional teams, and help shape the financial infrastructure of growing businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality MIS packs and financial reporting for clients
• Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs; provide actionable insights to clients and senior management
• Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Oversee compliance with direct and indirect tax requirements including TDS, GST, and income tax
• Ensure timely payments, accurate filings, and audit-ready documentation at all times
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants on assessments, notices, and hearings

Audit Management

• Manage and support internal and statutory audit processes end-to-end
• Coordinate with auditors and drive timely resolution of audit observations and queries
• Maintain audit-ready books and controls across client engagements

CFO Advisory & Management Consulting

• Act as a virtual CFO or finance advisor to client leadership teams
• Support clients on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial strategy
• Contribute to consulting deliverables including business plans, financial models, and investor presentations
• Identify and develop opportunities to expand scope of services within existing clients

 Team Leadership & Development

• Mentor and guide junior finance team members to build technical capability and output quality
• Review work products and ensure consistent quality across all deliverables
• Foster a culture of ownership, learning, and continuous improvement within the team

 Skills & Competencies

We Are Looking For

• Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS / IGAAP) and financial reporting
• Sound understanding of GST, TDS, income tax, and related compliance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho, or similar)
• Proficiency in financial modelling, MIS design, and management reporting
• Experience with FP&A, budgeting, and variance analysis

 Professional & Behavioural Competencies

• Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial data into business insights
• Proven team handling experience with ability to lead and develop people
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

 Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) — mandatory

• 3+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a CA firm, Big 4, consulting firm, or CFO
