Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Achievement: Develop and implement actionable sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly/annual sales targets for the assigned area.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of sales professionals (Area Sales Executives/Officers) to improve productivity and ensure target achievement.
Channel Management: Manage the sales and distribution network (General Trade/Project Sales), ensuring product availability and effective distributor management.
Market Intelligence: Analyze competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and channel partners.
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and sales activities to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in sales management, specifically in lighting, electrical, or consumer durable industries.
Leadership: Strong team management and motivational skills.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Education: MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2college.
