Role Description:
- The AI Transformation Lead / Manager is responsible for operationalizing the BU AI strategy, ensuring disciplined execution, strong governance, effective communication, and measurable business impact.
- While the BU CIO owns the AI strategy, this role acts as the tactical and execution leader translating strategic direction into prioritized initiatives, scalable delivery, and sustained adoption across the business.
- The role works closely with the ICT AI Lab and the DD&T Data & Analytics Lead and provides guidance to internal and external resources to accelerate AI outcomes, report value generation and propagate the AI literacy across all function in the business unit.
Responsibilities:
1. AI Execution & Portfolio Delivery
- Translate CIO-led AI strategy into a clear, prioritized execution roadmap.
- Shape, plan, and deliver AI initiatives from ideation to industrialization.
- Ensure each initiative has defined business objectives, success metrics, and value tracking.
- Drive on-time, on-budget delivery of AI use cases aligned with BU priorities.
2. Partnership with the ICT AI Lab
- Co-develop the AI Lab team (AI engineers, data scientists, MLOps, product roles).
- Establish delivery standards, development patterns, and reuse of AI components.
- Create a high-performance, outcome-driven culture focused on iteration and continuous improvement.
- Co-own capacity planning and skills development for the AI Lab.
3. AI Governance & Responsible Use
- Implement and enforce BU-level AI governance, aligned with enterprise policies.
- Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, legal, and ethical AI guidelines.
- Define standards for model lifecycle management, documentation, monitoring, and risk management.
- Act as the first line of control for AI risk within the BU.
4. AI Literacy, Change & Communication
- Support the CIO and AI Council in driving AI literacy across the BU and in alignment with the Segment.
- Lead communication on AI initiatives, success stories, and lessons learned.
- Act as an AI ambassador making AI adoption accessible, practical, and impactful.
5. External Partner Orchestration
- Monitor, report and propose improvements in the flex delivery model combining internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure effective knowledge transfer and capability build-up within the AI Lab.
- Optimize external spend with a focus on speed, quality, and sustainability.
6. Platform & Technology Enablement
- Serve as an architect and ensure effective use of Databricks (data, analytics, ML, GenAI) and AWS for AI workloads, scalability, and integration.
- Coordinate integration with core systems (SAP, MES, Salesforce, Planisware, etc.).
- Partner with DD&T Data & Analytics Lead and enterprise IT to align architecture, tooling, and security standards.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data, or a related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in digital transformation, analytics, AI, consulting, or technology-driven roles.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in a structured manner.
- Strong understanding of AI and advanced analytics concepts (practical exposure preferred).
- Experience working with data platforms and analytics ecosystems (e.g., Databricks, cloud platforms such as AWS).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear executive-level insights.
- High level of autonomy, judgment, and comfort operating in an evolving, ambiguous environment.
