Frontier Markets is looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager to build our products and thereby further the impact we make on rural communities. This role involves building deep conceptual familiarity in rural value chains while leading the evolution of our product using design thinking, cutting edge technology and a data driven approach. As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and company requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with product, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Your job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. You will be interfacing with both internal as well as external vendors to work on initial technology systems that are getting built to bring about a change to 25,000 entrepreneurs by 2022. The product and service will be deployed in low\-resource environments where infrastructure and human capacity to consume technology is low. The application should be highly usable and performant and should deliver significant value to its users. This is Frontier Markets' first full\-time Tech hire - hence the candidate will get a chance to set up from scratch and help bring about an impact to over 10 Mn rural lives by 2022.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  1. Understand markets and customer\/user requirements in depth to create compelling experiences. Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and define product vision and strategy for App and Web.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  2. Deliver MRDs (Market Requirement Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) with prioritized features and corresponding justification<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Work collaboratively with designers & editors \- specify crisp product features through careful analysis of business requirements, user needs and usability, and working closely with user experience designers, as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  4. Design and execute a continuous testing plan for important end\-to\-end flows working hand in hand with QA team to deliver excellent experience<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  5. Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  6. Run rigorous A\/B tests across desktop, mobile web and apps. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    <\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Identify key success metrics for the product, its features and measure the metrics post launch; constantly look for opportunities to optimize the product\/feature performance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

  8. Serve as primary interface with development teams and technology teams on project planning and management. Engage with customers & partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Operations, Business, Communication, Growth) to prioritize, drive and implement the product changes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    1. Engineering \/ Management Graduate from Tier 1 Institute<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    2. 3\-5 years of relevant B2B\/B2C product experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    3. Strong in UI\/UX, user engagement and retention, Apps.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    4. Prior exposure to building B2B\/B2C Mobile Apps at scale and should have led a team of backend, frontend, and mobile developers <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/p><\/li>\n

    5. Experience in running rigorous A\/B tests across desktop, mobile web and apps<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

    6. Work experience in a startup would be a plus<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

      • High degree of expertise and thought leadership in the app space, for both Android and iOS, through hands on product management or other leadership experience<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
