This role owns SharePoint onprem to SharePoint Online migrations, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable transitions while maintaining platform stability and supporting business users.
Key Responsibilities
SharePoint Migration (Required)
- Support SharePoint onpremises to SharePoint Online migrations
- Configure and manage migration tools (e.g., SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), thirdparty tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix)
- Support postmigration stabilization, user support, and adoption
- Administer and support SharePoint Online (Team Sites, Communication Sites, Hub Sites)
- Manage site creation, lifecycle, permissions, storage, and quotas

Configure and maintain:
- Lists and libraries
- Content types, metadata, and managed taxonomy
- Retention labels, compliance policies, and auditing
- Enforce SharePoint governance and best practices
- Troubleshoot access, performance, and permission issues
- Administer Power Platform environments (Dev/Test/Prod)
- Manage Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse access
- Monitor platform usage, capacity, and environment health
- Support solution deployments and environment promotions
- Assist power users and developers with environment and security issues
Power BI Administration

Administer Power BI Service
- Workspaces, roles, apps, and sharing settings
- Manage datasets, refresh schedules, and gateways

Enforce Power BI governance standards:
- Workspace strategies
- Semantic model ownership
- RowLevel Security (RLS)
- Monitor usage metrics and capacity
- Troubleshoot refresh, access, and performance issues
- Manage access using Azure AD, Microsoft 365 Groups, and security groups
- Enforce enterprise security and compliance requirements
- Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 support for SharePoint and Power Platform
- Respond to incidents, service health alerts, and outages
- Perform ongoing platform health checks and maintenance
- Support user onboarding, training, and postmigration adoption
- Coordinate with Microsoft support and vendors as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Required Technical Skills
- Handson experience migrating SharePoint onpremises to SharePoint Online
- Strong administration experience with SharePoint Online
- Experience with SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) and/or thirdparty migration tools
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint permissions, metadata, and information architecture
- Administration experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
- Solid experience administering Power BI Service
