  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in DevOps methodologies, driving innovation in cloud-native and on-prem solutions.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management:

  • Design and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.

CI/CD & Automation:

  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate deployment processes to streamline releases across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Improve system observability through robust logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
  • Implement blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollbacks for seamless software releases.

Security & Compliance:

  • Enforce security best practices including IAM, secrets management, and network security in cloud environments.
  • Implement vulnerability scanning, automated security testing, and compliance checks as part of the DevSecOps pipeline.
  • Work closely with the InfoSec team to ensure compliance with GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or PCI DSS standards.

Performance Monitoring & Incident Response:

  • Establish incident response plans, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets for system reliability.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability by analyzing logs, metrics, and application behavior.
  • Ensure 24/7 system availability by implementing proactive monitoring, auto-scaling, and disaster recovery plans.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby) for automation.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (New Relic, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana).
  • Strong understanding of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
