Role: Procurement Specialist
Location: India Remote
Duration: 3 month contract to hire
Work hours: 4pm - 1am India hours

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for driving all aspects of purchasing, directly developing & Negotiating Contract Purchasing Agreements, Business Pricing Agreements to support on-contract purchasing and Procure to Pay ( P2P ) within Oracle. This position is focused on maximizing savings and optimizing client's Procurement enterprise supply base. This role is cross-functionally with Business Partners & Management team and Procure-to-Pay workflow to ensure seamless onboarding and compliance screening of vendors. Supporting responsibilities include administering client's Procurement requisitioning and contract review processes, including qualifying business use cases, securing all pertinent documentation, and coordinating signature executions. This role collaborates with key stakeholders and business leaders to ensure contract delivery and deadlines for business continuity. This position continually improves our contract throughput life cycle, service levels, and intake quality assurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operates within core Procurement competencies, with an emphasis on supplier sourcing, pricing, and management, including supporting reporting and performance metrics.
  • Partners with business partners across the organization to qualify use cases for pricing, ensure compliance requirements, and maintain Procurement's internal service levels to business.
  • Assist the Procurement Leadership with supplier sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation of commercial terms.
  • Directly engage and administer business teams on requests to maintain Procurement's SLA to business.
  • Support Procurement's Purchase Requisition and Contract life cycle, including coordinating new vendor onboarding, to maintain internal service levels and ensuring deadlines.
  • Coordinate legal, privacy, and compliance routing to achieve contract execution deadlines and expedite the contract review life cycle.
  • Maintain Procurement's CPA and BPA and manage daily purchasing requirements.
  • Supporting use cases, and commercial terms into vendor contracts and supporting documents.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document any/all technology & implementation related requirements.
  • Evaluate purchase requisition completeness and qualify intake fields.
  • Manage and develop action plans for upcoming agreement renewal dates.
  • Maintain documentation, records, and metrics for key performance indicators (KPI's).
Qualifications Expected for Position
  • 5+ years of relevant procurement in Indirect Procurement Such as IT / Software SaaS, Marketing, HR , Professional Services etc.) and supplier management experience.
  • Demonstrated business integrity and ability to ensure deadlines are met, including re-establishing priorities, as necessary.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well and collaboratively with multiple internal business partners or departments to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Experience working with procurement lifecycles, and a deep knowledge of procurement best practices.
  • Experience developing and executing contracts desirable.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources.
  • A proven history of meeting department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience managing process and projects.
  • The ability to learn and leverage various tools and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with P2P ERP platforms, such as Oracle
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
A Bachelor's Degree in related field of study from an accredited university or Procurement-plus-Supplier Management work experience required; or a high school diploma with 5+ years in a procurement or supply chain role with specific contract processing & management experience.
