Job Title: ServiceNow Technical Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to design, develop, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. The candidate will lead development teams, ensure best practices, and drive platform innovation while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and support activities
- Architect and design solutions across modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, and SecOps
- Provide technical leadership to developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Review and approve technical designs, scripts, and integrations
- Drive platform optimization, performance tuning, and instance health improvements
- Lead integration efforts using REST, SOAP APIs, and third-party tools
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
- Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards
- Manage upgrades, patching, and instance strategy
- Support Agile/Scrum delivery model and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in ServiceNow development
- Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting (Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies)
- Experience with ServiceNow modules like ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, GRC, or SecOps
- Expertise in integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub)
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow data model, CMDB, and CSDM framework
- Experience in Service Portal / UI Builder / Now Experience
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS)
- Experience with performance tuning and instance optimization
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow security and ACLs
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- CIS certifications (ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, etc.)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ATF (Automated Test Framework)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of AI/ML features in ServiceNow (Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent)
