Testing
  • To conduct following tests as per the procedure /method given in the worksheet or as instructed by
    the Supervisor or above.
    - Water vapor transmission rate (WVTR)
    - Oxygen transmission rate (OTR)
    - Tensile, elongation, Seal strength
    - Transit testing
    - Corrugated box / paper testing etc..
    - Technical support for project reports with respect to shelf life study, R&D projects.
  • Supporting Lab technician / group leader in any project assigned to the testing team
  • Following the SOP's and Communicating the updates in the Manuals / SOP to the peers
  • Coordinate and support during our internal audits
    by Quality Team
  • Training and delegate the works to juniors during Lab testing (on the Job)
  • Responsible review of all data sheets and ensuring the accurate lab results

Maintenance of records and Machines

  • Maintain proper hygiene in the laboratory w.r.t. documents and equipment's.
  • Maintaining records, data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Follow documented standard operating procedure.
  • Keep & share the documents pertaining to the daily testing to supervisor and data entry on time
    to keep the TAT
  • Keeping all necessary records of the tests conducted in the format given.
  • Maintaining the equipment logbook and calibration records up to-date.
  • To bring to the notice of the group leader any discrepancy in test material, method or equipment.
  • Effective Monitoring and utilization of Lab consumables

Qualification:

  • Diploma or B. Tech in Packaging / Mechanical, Plastics/polymers technology
  • Bachelor of Science
